To a Place of Real Meaning
The landscape is varied with the roles we assume,
But each of them asks that we our partners attune
To a positive future where all have a part
To contribute together, and not stand apart,
To a place of real meaning, which details we see,
To a place of our making, where we’d struggle to be.
And to finally a place which holds ample belief
Of bounty to share, and for some burdens, relief.
Despite tenure or title, go deeper to see
That you are the right stuff a fine leader to be.
Go! Author a story in the language of heart,
That reads with a passion, and excites us to part
With the habits we hold, or the comforts we crave,
To grab hold a new future that dares us be brave.
Lend force of your courage and deep core conviction,
Show us the way towards a meaningful vision.
